FA 24 SOS Alumni Seminar
SOS hosted two alumni career sessions this semester, providing members with valuable networking opportunities, career growth insights, and meaningful discussions. The alumni shared their experiences and guidance, helping members find answers to their questions and contributing to both their career development and the growth of SOS.

FA 24 SOS Voluntary Service
SOS actively participates in various events aimed at sustainable development. From on-campus Take Action Week to discussions with the Indigenous community, our members engage in meaningful dialogue and volunteer efforts to contribute to a better future for all.
FA 24 SOS Global Sustainable Action Weekend
SOS participated in the Global Sustainable Action Weekend at University Park, learning about various SDGs and engaging in activities like greenhouse gas interactions, honey tasting, and creative recycling. We also connected with students from other campuses. These activities promote Quality of Education and provide opportunities for learning and reflection.
FA 24 SOS Fundraising event
SOS held a two-day dalgona fundraising event, raising approximately $300 to support children and families in need. The proceeds were donated to Keystone Family Alliance, contributing to the UN's goal of promoting well-being for all.
SP 23 SOS Fundraising
As a club that promotes the 17 Goals of Sustainable Development Goals, in Spring 2023 we have came up with a fundraising event. This event not only serves to promote our club and our misson, but also serves to help our community. All of the funds that has been raised by this event has been donated to a place called "Key Stone Foundation". This foundation supports child in need, which follows in to one of the goals of SDGs.
SOS Christmas Fundraiser
As a club that promotes 17SDGs goals, during the FA22 semester we as a group have planned for a fundraiser that could help the community.
We have held the event in HUB Robeson center from 11/29-11/30. We have raised total of 500 dollars and have decided to donate the money to the KeyStone Foundation.

Penn State TED Countdown
FA22 board members participated in an event called 'Countdown' hosted by TEDxPSU. The purpose of this meeting was to meet various organizations that promote sustainability as their goal and to exchange bright ideas about environmentally friendly projects in the future.

SOS x UNICEF Penn State
2022 Earth Day
We hosted an ‘Earth Day’ event at HUB Robeson Center to appreciate our mother planet and to educate students about the importance of sustainability and keeping our environment clean. We have successfully held the event with Penn State Global, Student Farm at PSU, and UNICEF PSU.

We have worked with the Association for Supporting UN SDGs (ASD). ASD is an organization based in South Korea that works directly with the UN to provoke the main goals of Sustainable Development Goals. They provided the Certification of Completion for Sustainable Development Goal, while we promoted informative events and topics of sustainable goals based on their strict guidelines.
